I’m Naveen Balasubramaniam, a UX-focused multidisciplinary designer in Bangalore, India, with 9+ years across brand, visual, and product design in SaaS and product-driven companies. Today I’m a Senior Digital Designer at Insider One, and the solo founder of Dropmatico, which I designed, built, and launched end to end with AI-native workflows.

An image resizer that already knows the spec for 34 platforms, and your images never leave the browser. I owned every part of it: brand, product design, UX research and writing, front end, back end, content, SEO, and launch, with Claude Code, Claude Cowork, Claude, and Figma Weave as my team.

What I do

    AI-native product building

    I take products from idea to launch with AI-native workflows. Dropmatico went from brand and product design to development and launch with one person at the helm, building with Claude Code and other AI tools.

    UX, design systems, and internal tools

    I build scalable design systems, user flows, and internal tools that bridge design and development, so teams ship consistent, on-brand experiences without waiting in production queues.

    Collaboration that keeps iteration alive

    I bring stakeholders into the process, preserve iteration, and work across marketing, product, and engineering. I’ve mentored designers, most recently in AI-enabled design workflows.

  1. FEB 2026 – Present

    Senior Digital Designer · Insider One (opens in a new tab)

    • Created use-case-specific design-system versions to guide on-brand designs from prototype to MVP, accounting for AI capabilities and constraints.
    • Enhanced design processes with AI-native workflows to generate on-brand design explorations and support iteration.
    • Translated complex product value into feature narratives and UI showcases; mentored a team of designers in AI-enabled design workflows.

  2. FEB 2020 – FEB 2026

    Senior Visual Designer · Freshworks (opens in a new tab)

    • Built “Fresh Fit”, an internal tool bridging design and development, enabling stakeholders to contribute without waiting in production queues.
    • Enabled image generation and adaptation to component specifications and CMS constraints, with UX writing integrated at any production stage.
    • Enabled multiple user-flow variations to preserve iterative exploration in a fast-paced production environment.
    • Built and documented scalable design systems, templates, and SOPs; evolved brand guidelines across product and marketing.
    • Partnered with marketers, product managers, and developers to ship on-brand experiences and optimize product landing pages using user behavior.

    • Art-directed brand, web, and UI/UX design across multiple brands, aligning business goals with user needs.

    • Designed and localized 2,300+ ad creatives across Australia, New Zealand, the US, and the UK, balancing speed with brand consistency.
